SAT Scores:

For the 2000-2001 school year Poway High School students had an average SAT score of 1102. Their verbal average was 541 and math average was 561. Fifty-two percent of the eligible students tested for the SAT. Thirty-eight percent of the students who took the SAT scored over 1000. These scores are very impressive compared not only with other schools in the area and state, but also nationally.
